I went years wearing mostly striped shirts + dresses, now I incorporate solids + checkered patterns as a rule. I'm a mom of three kids we had in 3.5 years + I often stutter + struggle to figure out what's going on around me. My house is usually a mess but it's so completely full of love + wonder, paints + drawings, playdough-in-the-carpets, half-finished sewing + craft projects, and food scattered about. I love baking + cooking with my kids. My husband is the best person I know besides Jesus. We've grown so much in the past 13 years of marriage. If you've read this far, then let's see, I am a former journalist + marketing specialist + wedding and event planner who now spends her days changing diapers, scrubbing the toilet, reading huge piles of literature to my babies, chasing after my eldest + middle + also youngest - oh yes, I dream of becoming a book writer + legit love my life (except for the rare or not so rare occasion when I'm crying hysterically on the bathroom floor bc it's so hard having three kids so close in age..and I feel like I'm failing at #momlife.). God is Faithful, and He's shown me His great love through the hard + holy-making work of getting to the end of myself and realizing that at the end, HE is there. HE always was. xx
