Our First Overnight Maui Getaway

This year’s Mother’s Day was one for the books.

Ken took me on our first-ever one-night getaway here on Maui without our kids since having kids. For some quick math, our eldest just turned 6 years old.

Wild, right?!

It’s not that we haven’t wanted this before, it’s just never worked out to find childcare for an overnight stay. Watching three kids overnight is a big deal, and I feel so blessed we got to do this for the first time. Ever. I could cry, it was so much fun. I love my husband so much.
