Days turn into weeks and weeks turn into months, and I find myself caught in the haze that encompasses life with a newborn. So many smiles, tears, laughs, giggles, coos, and memories being made in these past few weeks!
Our darling girl, Rosie Ku’umele, arrived on August 8th at 1:34 p.m. My Beautiful Song, just as her name suggests, with such a special (and easy-to-remember) birthday of 8/8/18. Ken and I are smitten. Ruby and Cyrus are enthralled with their younger sister, and in welcoming baby Rosie I find myself questioning whether we are truly done having babies after this. They are amazing, and wondrous, and help me to better grasp what infinite love our God must have for us, to create and gift us with children. Delivery has got to be the most physical pain I’ve ever faced and yet the joy that follows is immeasurable. I’m so thankful for these precious babies we have, and I look forward in hope to all that God has in store, as we watch them grow.
Thank you so much for loving on our family in this time, through your prayers, support, and gifts. We praise God for the community of people who have come alongside us and blessed our little family. I can hardly believe that we’ve been living on Maui almost a year now!
Here are two photos we took of baby Rosie that first day of life, along with more snapshots from the very talented Jenny Padgett Photography, taken when Rosie was a little more than a month old.

Thank you so much, Jenny, for these beautiful photos:
